Structural leadership

For the puppies, we are looking for targeted new owners, who have a lifestyle where the dog is an addition to the family, because a dog is a loving addition that gives you a lot of energy and love, as long as you are willing to share the same energy and to give back love. An Australian cattle dog likes clarity in the form of structural leadership. Structural leadership: We will all agree that a dog can be coached, after all you determine what is and what is not allowed, where the boundaries are and, depending on time, boundaries become blurred. you build a bond with your dog and this is a bond of trust: it already lies in the choice about which collar you choose for your dog. A relationship of trust starts with the trust of your dog, because a dog has no reason (yet) to distrust you. A dog is often a reflection of an owner: if the owner feels insecure or secure in certain situations, dare to confront yourself with the fact that you may need help to develop or improve your leadership style.

Leading your dog: Everyone has knowledge, a mission: this is the situation now, a starting point, you may have general knowledge and you can pass that on to your dog. A vision creates a picture of the future: what do you want to achieve with your dog? maybe aligity, or maybe you go cycling / running together? or do more research? We hope that, as a new owner, you will experience many adventures with the dog. Finally: you don't read the same newspaper every time, so every time the same walk, the same routine ... that gets bored and this dog: in the long run a dog makes it clear to you by "communicating" and usually that is a communication, which we as humans see as: "undesirable behavior" and that would be annoying, for the owner but also especially for the dog itself. General knowledge, someone can have so much knowledge about dogs, but in the end it is about decisiveness and taking responsibility for your dog, it is more than "I know how to deal with a dog" It is more about: no words , but deeds, or decisiveness. Even if you have so much knowledge about dogs ... without decisiveness: you will not get anywhere, but ....

communicating with your dog is not just analyzing, feeling and thinking, it is a form of intuition that you feel something without thinking about it. For example, inspire a dog to show different behavior, which is more positive, by means of a "toy" for example and / or to react to a dog in time, so that the dog does not jump, run after something, etc. You give guidance. being involved with the dog inside out, actively and passively and allowing the dog to respond freely to situations, without losing control over the situation and your dog, after all: you have a relationship of trust with each other, the dog trusts you as a leader and you trusts the dog and together you create a good cooperation that you both enjoy, both the dog and the owner. In short, this breed is a working dog, so for someone who does not feel like or has the time to do something with his dog, a dog breed, such as an Australian cattle dog (ACD) is completely unsuitable.

With enough commitment, motivation, energy, willpower and a willingness to "learn" so that you confront yourself on how best to lead and with the necessary patience and time with the dog, every dog will suit you, regardless of whether you are a Are "beginner" or "advanced" with dogs. A dog and keeping and having dogs: takes energy and time. We only hope to find people who are willing to devote enough energy and time to the dog, because small puppies become medium sized dogs who can be coached in an inspiring way.
